You know how people hate to listen to talk radio,
well at least I do, sometimes you find
unexpected smiles in a caller. Maybe it's what they say or the way they say it.

Time saver

I often wonder where time goes? You get up in the morning and have a great list of things to do, ready to go, then something distracts you. The next thing you know the day is over and you not only have accomplish nothing on your list, you can't even find it. My solution to this is don't make a list , take one thing at a time. If you can't remember what you needed to do, it must not be that important. So for today ,go and clean the fridge:) I'm sure that was on a list somewhere.

A bad word :)

In today's world we have gotten very relax about "Bad" words. Remember how it was in the 50's? People would watched it on TV, I watched it on reruns. Kids would say "Dam" and the people around them would crawl under the desk, because the devil was coming to get their soul, now. Well now if every other word is not F___, the sentence is not complete. My sister for instance uses this word as a noun, adjective, verb and many other forms of grammar, thank God she went to 16 years of Catholic school. I am convinced the nuns taught her the words (on a dare). I never learned them and I went to public school. I am also convinced it has to do with your inability to watch cartoons. If you watch cartoon you learn all sorts of substitute words to use. For example :s
hap, shazam, tartar sauce. Well

when I named my children I did look up names and meaning.

it will make you smile when you find it, my senior memory forgot it before I got home from a farewell dinner. This great woman was farewelled and she is one of the greatest smilers I have ever met, she too is from the great state of Iowa, great smilers come from that state.

Be Gone Smile Smashers

Today At Vacation Bible School we read Matthew 4,
Jesus said Be gone Satan!!!, yes that was the day that Jesus had an attitude with Satan
ok it sounds like Satan just pushed him too far. Some days people try to smash your smile.
Do you ever wonder why? I believe it is Satan's smile smashers, they come in many forms, you know what I mean. Well if you don't here are some examples:

bossy people(there is a difference between bossy and in control ,
right Aunt Ro) :(
slow drivers :(
skinny people in an all you eat buffet:(
mothers-inlaw (just for some people ,right QBF):(
people with perfect kids:(
stepford wives:(
people with perfectly clean houses and cars (another sign of a sick mind):(
the person who invented algebra (why would you ever use a letter for a number, sick mind) :(

Dog Smiles

Have you ever seen a dog Smile? It is a wonder to watch. You might ask, when can I see a dog smile? As a smileMaker I am always on the look out for these wondrous things. Today's dog smile came from my dog Coco, she is not always the brightest crayon in the box, but today she gave me several smiles. Coco always smiles when she chases her own tail, a wondrous sight to see as she picks up speed chasing her tail. When she stops she always smiles as if to say.


Tail you have defeated me once again, but I will chase you again another day:)

Terrific Tuesday

Tuesday must be a lonely day, everyone hates Monday, Wednesday is Hump day. Thursday is the day before Friday and of course Friday is the best. Tuesday needs to have the prefix Terrific added to it, that way it is another great day that the lord has made.


Talking is sometimes a gift and a curse, for me usually it's both at the same time:)

Nap Power

Have you ever taken a nap?
A nap is one of the worlds biggest wonders. when you are young you dread them,
your parents love them. When you are a teen you take them and you don't even
notice you had one. As a parent it is the issential weapon against your kids. Remember Great men take 10 minute power naps to help them thru the day. Great women don't need naps but take them anyway.


Take a nap your kids will wonder what you are up to:)

Sunday, it is the most used day of the week. Everyone uses it as the makeup day for all the extra stuff you did not get done during your week.

Stormy Saturday

Today is a stormy day, rain, thunder, lightning, wind.
Some people don't like
rainy days, I love them, why do you ask?
Well, it gives us a reason to look to the skies and search for rainbows
