This week in our town hundreds of young people will be confirmed in our faith:)
now if that does not bring a smile to your face, you must be dead:)

Smile it makes the non Catholic wonder what makes us so happy :)

a smile from a child

little girl walked daily to and from school. Though the weather that morning was questionable and clouds were forming, she made her daily trek to the elementary school.
As the afternoon progressed, the winds whipped up, along with thunder and lightning. The mother of the little girl felt concerned that her daughter would be frightened as she walked home from school, and she herself feared that the electrical storm might harm her child.
Following the roar of thunder, lightning, like a flaming sword, would cut through the sky. Full of concern, the mother quickly got into her car and drove along the route to her child's school.
As she did so, she saw her little girl walking along, but at each flash of lightning, the child would stop, look and smile. Another and another were to follow quickly, each with the little girl stopping, looking at the streak of light and smiling.
Finally, the mother called her over to the car and asked, "What are you doing?"
The child answered, "God just keeps taking pictures of me."
--"And a little child shall lead them...."
Lord, help me to trust You as much as this little one, especially when the storms of life crash around me.

Wal mart

Today I went to Wal mart very early, it was about 6:20,
#3 son is taking a trip for school and needed some stuff.
When I left Wal mart the moon was out and the sky was a deep blue, and it was so beautiful :)
this sight took me back to another Wal mart several years back in Hawaii:)
it's funny how certain things bring you back :) the same with food , when you are burning a candle and it reminds you of holiday food or event:

Pay attention today to the small memories God is trying to give you
it's his way of reminding you of smiles of the past.

Please Pray for Smilmaker Father-in law having some health stuff going on:)

Last night during the 5:30 Mass, our young people paid a special tribute to Joe and Meledy Kise:)
The most touching moment was when Taylor and Megan, gave a heartfelt and special ,thank you, mom and dad:) My child was blessed by the NCYC trip:) It is wonderful that our young people have great role models and parents:)

Thank You all for guiding our kids to the right path:)

Today Quasi made a ton of soup for the best crew team in the world.

so I can catch up before the buddy boy comes home with 40 of his friends for the night:)

Self affirmation once again:)

I am taking lessons on self affirmation from my son:) Son # 1 was telling me that he writes daily in his affirmation log:) I will get into medical school, and I will become a doctor:)
if you can say it, write it , read it
you can be it:)
so I've decided to walk the walk:)
I will become the best teacher/preacher in the south east.
ok so I can't decided which one I want more:)
right now I really enjoy being the chapel leader for a small school:)
Yes I preach weekly to about 70 kids, I did not realize that this is just a small step in my plan:)
