find peace anywhere

sometimes when I pray I just pray, but at other times I say lord I need an answer now.
I did that on Saturday
and this is the answer I received:)
So my next actions reflected the prayer:)

What is your light? What is your skill or talent? What is the thing - simple or grand - that you do well? I assure you, there is at least one. Whatever it is, do it. Don't hold back.

second day of Lent

Happy Lent:)

On this second day of lent I take a minute to think about our priest once again, please keep them in your prayers.
they teach us so many things. just yesterday, I realize that I am so much stronger because of Father Tom. He has taught me that I do not need to take anyone bull sh))) I do not need to sit by and be sweet and be abused by any man, and for that Father I thank You. I am able to say back off I do not need to to be belittled in the work placed , and that is exactly what I did yesterday:) so thank you Father Tom. I also ask for prayers for Him he is in a Dark place and needs prayers. He is a man of God, and as a man of God deserves prayers. so pray for him today. enjoy the journey

Who Really Matters:)

One day you wake up and you say to yourself, who really matters? inside my house or outside?
I'm not really sure why I'm writing this today, it's just in my heart, so I'm sharing it.
we really need to take care of those around us, those who are close by, they are who really count:)
sometimes we are so busy with service that we neglect our own house, so stay home and keep our
own our top priority:)

Preacher's Donkey

A man bought a donkey from a preacher. The preacher told the man that this donkey had been trained in a very unique way (being the donkey of a preacher). The only way to make the donkey go, is to say, "Hallelujah!"

The only way to make the donkey stop, is to say, "Amen!"

The man was pleased with his purchase and immediately got on the animal to try out the preacher's instructions.

"Hallelujah!" shouted the man. The donkey began to trot. "Amen!" shouted the man. The donkey stopped immediately.

"This is great!" said the man. With a "Hallelujah" he rode off, very proud of his new purchase.

The man traveled for a long time through the mountains. As he headed towards a cliff, he tried to remember the word to make the donkey stop.

"Stop," said the man. "Halt!" he cried. The donkey just kept going.

"Oh, no..."

"Bible...Church!...Please! Stop!!," shouted the man. The donkey just began to trot faster. He was getting closer and closer to the edge of the cliff.

Finally, in desperation, the man said a prayer..."Please, dear Lord. Please make this donkey stop before I go off the end of this mountain, In Jesus name, AMEN."

The donkey came to an abrupt stop just one step from the edge of the cliff.

"HALLELUJAH!" shouted the man.

Production week:)

now this quote might not make sense to anyone:) but to those who understand
production week it makes perfect sense. yesterday was our first day of production
week:) crazy, all volunteers did not show up, so first weekend will be really difficult:0
so I will move forward and M o v e forward really s l o w and get it done
and of course a volunteer that did show up was very HELPFUL in every way:( I hope that
gets better . so production week continues

does anyone else feel that it was a bit crowded on the road
a few years ago?:)
you know what I mean, when we were having more fun?, doing more meaningless things:)
or things that were just stuff,
you spend more time on the phone, e-mail's , please pray for me, smiles and waves,

as the road become bumpy all those who became uncomfortable
dropped off,
the good thing is those who stuck around enjoy the laughs, and enjoy the tears,
but will really enjoy the celebration at the end:)

I am about to go away to my first retreat in 27 years that I have not facilitated;)

this is great, I just get to sit back and be a gatherer. I do not know anyone going, maybe 3 ladies,
I do not even know the speaker, or the topic, But it does not even matter to me,
I hope to rest, reflect and rejuvenate)
I will be full of energy and back for the big super bowl game and fun traditions we
always enjoy:) but for now , I have Homework and stuff I must complete before my journey:)

today I spoke on Peace and I shared that I like Martha find peace in doing work
and that is ok, so if you are a Martha with a Mary heart, don't fret, Jesus Loves both Mary and Martha
