Let's celebrate our military brat today;)

Today we celebrate the Military Brat:)
I entered a contest, but did not win, but they did put it
in the magazine, FYI Fort Gordon, we love our military brats:)

Michaella is a very special military brat. She is as special as her name;
her name is an old family name, from someone very dear. Michaella
walks into a room and lights it up with her smile and her abundant joy.
She is full of talent too; she plays in the Richmond county orchestra.
Michaella also is a generous soul. She volunteers her time with the
Fort Gordon Dinner Theatre, Fort Gordon CCD program and the
local soup kitchen. For her 11years, she has touched so many
hearts--especially her parents and three brothers. For us, she’s not
a princess because princesses always need to be rescued. She’s
our queen. Queens are in control and always full of grace. She’s a
total blessing to us.

persevere on the journey

after several days of no inspirational thoughts, I am back to the
journey , to focus on the road

the diligent will to persevere is the answer:)

"He failed in business in '31. He was defeated for state legislator in '32.He tried another business in '33. It failed. His fiancee died in '35. He had a nervous breakdown in '36. In '43 he ran for congress and was defeated. He tried again in '48 and was defeated again. He tried running for the Senate in '55. He lost. The next year he ran for Vice President and lost. In '59 he ran for the Senate again and was defeated. In 1860, the man who signed his name A. Lincoln, was elected the 16th President of the United States.

The difference between history's boldest accomplishments, and its most staggering failures is often, simply, the diligent will to persevere."

BGF is 18

His leadership inspires many:)

Today is the big day he is 18, My Easter baby
He came into this world, blue and lifeless
for 7 minutes we prayed and cried and God
blessed us with a child who daily reminds us
that life should be lived to the fullest.
as his brother said that morning, Jesus
brought me a brother today:) this is truely
the only words to discribe him to us. a true gift from God

my quote to him today is this:

The task ahead of you is never as great as the power behind you:

Ephesians 6:10

be strong in the lord and in his mighty power

we choose to lead ;)

we choose to lead, or does God set the path for us to be leaders:)

I believe that he sets the path and gives you the choice to accept the challenge:)
He always takes care of his sheep:)

Yes, Lord is the answer that keeps the world going:)

Leaders are first to see the need, envision the plan, and take action to achieve success."

C is always a good letter

Yesterday I had several answered prayers:)
so today is a day to share the praise:)
first my humanities mid term came in and yes I got a
C, for most people they would be disappointed with a C,, but not me
I really thought I was going to get an F, not for not
studying but because it's a very hard class:0 so I celebrate
the CCCCC:)
and yesterday I went to the big C
yes confession:) what a rush to be forgiven
I highly recommend it, I saw old friends and was
blessed by this statement:)
you must be famous, you must be a very nice person, because of the way people react when they see you:)

so a c is always a good letter :)

Perserverance:)

sometimes we need prayer in our lives to help us get through our journey:)
as we teach the amazing power of prayer to others we learn that prayer holds
your future:) today Joyce Myers said some amazing things:) pray with purpose and don't
be shy about it:)

and then I said
and then there is character:) so pray without ceasing and be bold about it:)

"Perseverance is the only path lit by character."

a moment to remember:)

Two years ago on a Friday I was born again:) Thank you to all who made this event possible:) the two quotes for this day reflect my thoughts of two years ago
one shows how I felt two years ago and one shows how I feel today:)
enjoy and celebrate with me the freedom of oppression:)

once again you expect us to believe your lies but i've removed the blindfold you put across my eyes i can no longer sit back and watch your system destroy what's left of me everything that makes me is a lie no more of this not freedom we don't even question it these are your standards these are your ideas these are your morale but this is my life i'm taking back my life i won't let you make a living off my misery

- Chokehold

Amazing how a quote saids it all:)

German proverb:
Who has never tasted what is bitter does not know what is sweet.

How sweet it is today, Thank you God for the sweetness:)

take a minute to pray :)

I asked God for strength that I might achieve.
I was made weak that I might learn humbly to obey.
I asked for health that I might do greater things.
I was given infirmity that I might do better things.
I asked for riches that I might be happy.
I was given poverty that I might be wise.
I asked for power that I might have the praise of men.
I was given weakness that I might feel the need of God.
I asked for all things that I might enjoy life.
I was given life that I might enjoy all things.
I got nothing that I asked for, but everything I hoped for. Almost despite myself,
my unspoken prayers were answered. I am, among all men, most richly blessed.--

Humility :)

I wonder how often I think of this word:)
so I am exploring it's meaning:)

Everything that we do affects our fate for better or for worse. The circumstances into which we are born also exert a tremendous influence; we come into the world with debits and credits for which we are not responsible already posted to our account: this teaches us humility.--Marguerite Yourcenar (With Open Eyes)

It's all about us/me:)

Sometimes we spend so much time on everyone else we forget us, so this is the day I want to motivate you to think of you:)

take a minute to focus your goals:) here are two quotes I found for today;)

It is time to focus on you. Your dreams, your hopes, and your goals! Time to design and achieve the life you want. Now is your window of opportunity!

"Whatever you
are meant to do,
move toward it
and it will
come to you."

a lesson for my children

I hope this is a lesson I will leave my children :)
and this week I think I saw this in an example by son number 2:) not that he failed, but that he dared
to do the uncertain:) and he had a glorious time:)
this quote has the exact words I have been looking for to describe what
I have been feeling lately:)
thanks teddy:)

Far better it is to dare mighty things,
to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure,
than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer
much because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat.

Theodore Roosevelt (1858 - 1919)

two years ago seems so long ago:) AMEN

I had a moment today that I remembered two years ago today and how sad I was:), and then
I smiled and thanked God for them all:) blessed them and moved on:)

so as I finish my last page I say hurray:) 6 papers in three hours
I had to correct them and turn them back in to get a full 100
but I am done and I can almost begin my spring pause:) (as soon as I turn it in )

What a great feeling of achievement:)
I am still in shock when I do this and get it done.

awesome when blessings come from unexpected places:)

Nothing stops the woman who desires to achieve.
Every obstacle is simply a course to develop her achievement muscle.
It's a strengthening of her powers of accomplishment.
Thomas Carlyle

forgiveness:)

yesterday in CCD I really felt the true unlove of a child:(
but that is what miss information can do, so please share your children with the world
and do not let them become children of only books. (I have studied the cattechism for the past 13 years
I know it inside out) he said:( sadly, sometimes they know words, but they do not know what they mean
so teach your children that kindness and forgiveness are the most important tools
they need :)

“The essence of Buddhism is if you can, help others. If not, then at least refrain from hurting others.”

Finally Saturday:)

Closing Night of the Big Show:)
a great show comes to an end, I will miss the excitement but not the challenge:)
I am glad that the rush will come to an end. this has been a fast and furious week, and
I am ready for a rest. one more test and it will be over for a week. today is full of many things, but
first it is time to fill it with Faith First:)

I will take my quote and live it:) and keep reminding myself that it is Lent

To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person you are."--Unknown

The week is almost done:)

This has been a very long week, mid terms have been hard, and difficult
I hope for grades that are decent:) but todays test might not be
too exciting, but I think I will do better next time:)
because unless we fail victory will not taste too sweet:)

Imagination and determination make the difference."
