Texas humor

While in Texas , I refer to myself as Ms.Georgia, this is a teaching tool to help the adult students come back to the topic at hand. I wave my hand like a beauty queen and the room response is to yell out Ms. Georgia, this brings those who are wandering, back to class. This last week I was instructing people from Honduras, El Salvador, Columbia. They found the Ms. Georgia technique rather amusing, one student (the only man in the group) made a life changing comment to me. He waited for the end of my class and spoke to me very seriously(it was a real smiling). He wanted to know the meaning of the Ms. Georgia wave and response from the class, I responded graciously. He then said it.......Wow , I bet you looked like a beauty queen in your younger and slimmer days:),,,,,,,,so this is the life changing part, I was not really offended, I might lose some weight, but then again, women with substance rule the world. Right QBF!!!
