A little book prayer

This is from my daily prayer book:

I have been treated with contempt, dear Lord, and I ask for courage to benefit from what has happened to me. Teach me to know that great graces cannot be obtained without humility. Those who are to have them must be humiliated to be made worthy by humility to receive the blessings that you withhold from the proud. Having experienced the present humiliation, may I treasure and look upon it as a sure sign that you have some special grace in store for me.
Amen

I hope this makes someone smile today:)

funny thoughts

the oppression continues, I must ignore it, and let the truth set me free:)

some funny thoughts to make you smile:)

Friends may come and go, but enemies accumulate.

If you think that there is good in everybody, you haven't met everybody.

Every time you make ends meet, someone moves the ends.

If you can smile when things go wrong, you have someone in mind to blame.

All things being equal, fat people use more soap.

Sunday is for resting

Why is it that we say it, but we never do it?
Sunday is for resting, then why do we do all the extra stuff on Sunday?
I am on a Sunday campaign.
we will not do anything but church on Sunday!!!!
ok, so I have to go to the store to get the stuff to do laundry and make dinner:(
So much for starting a revolution in our country:)

maybe I'll try it again next week:)

Forgiveness & Bondage

Forgiveness & Bondage = the peace that was lost
sometimes we allow others to hold us captive, we have to remember that no one can make us do anything,
we allow them to control us.
So for today, no guilt, no one controls me with their passive aggressiveness, or by their(perceived) holiness to make me feel non holy,
I am me,
if you like it good,
if you don't ,just read the below new title for me:) and by the way I am not PMSing today,
just free of Bondage:::::))))))

C Control

but a bit sad for those who just do not understand the process of forgiveness & justice (7 x 70):(
and cannot bring themselves to even say hello
:( for them, but still :) for me,

because the Mass was worth any perceived rejection:)

AMEN!!!!!

Gone but not forgotten

I have been making smiles around my town, so sorry I have not written about it.
I am back smiling from ear to ear, I just got my first two test back, yes after 23 years of being out of college, it finally feels real. A college student. I was able to get two 90's this week:)
but the very next minute I get a pop quiz and total panic, I'll let you know how it turns out:0
I smile because it is the best medicine:) when you are lonely, smile with the memory of friends:) when you feel like you are in bondage:) smile, one day this test will be your testimony and your lesson to share, when you are sad, smile you know that it will get better:) when you are afraid, run like hell:), just kidding:) keep praying and keep them all lifted high in prayer:)

again my favorite quote:)

"Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."
